was wondering if its possible to somehow synchronize/export the Active directory contents if the domino server is on linux RH instead of Win 2k?the two servers are on the same LAN

It doesn’t really matter what platform the Domino server is running on when it comes to integration with Active Directory. What are you trying to do?User should have the same password in Notes and Windows?
Single sign-on between Notes and Windows?
User should have the same password when accessing Domino by web as in Active Directory?
Single sign-on between Domino browseruser and Windows?
Something else?
Depending on what you want there are different solutions.

ADSync will let you do administrative work (user/group administration) in both AD and Domino Directory. See http://publib-b.boulder.ibm.com/abstracts/redp0605.html?Open and search the Admin help for “Setting up Domino Active Directory synchronization”
SSO between Windows and Notes is done by installing the “Client Single Logon Feature” with the Notes client.
The redbook Lotus Security Handbook is also useful.
