I’m working for NETRONIC Software in Germany, a manufacturer of ActiveX controls. A customer of us is using Lotus Notes and Domino Server and cannot insert any of our ActiveX controls onto Forms. I have found out, that this even occurs with an ActiveX control created from an unchanged MFC sample (button.ocx). We are using Visual Studio 2005, C++, MFC 8.0 for creating our controls. Debugging the crash does not give any clue, because no function of our control is listed in the call stack. This problem exists since several versions of Lotus Notes according to the customer. The crash can be reproduced with the 90-day trial version of Lotus Notes 8.5.0.0 with or without FP1. The customer uses a regular 8.5.1.
