Hi all,I have a customer owning a Portal using Domino as LDAP, and Sametime/Quickplace characteristics.
The customer has around 3,000 mail users registered in ActiveDirectory 2003 - Exhange 2003.
The idea is to migrate the actual users on ActiveDirectory to Domino, and make them share or sinchronize the users database, because the customer still wants to use AD as mail users repository.
Does any of you have any idea on how to do this?

You may be able to do this by customizing the schema to make sure that your Portal authentication passes the proper parameters to indicate that the user’s mail system is Exchange and not Domino and their mail server is the exchange server. You could theoretically then load the common mail portlet and away you go.
Try posting this question in the Portal discussion group, though and I am sure you will get a better answer.

Ok,More than a mail server related issue (Exchange), I’m interested in dealing with the LDAP issues of this enviroment. I want the actual AD users tu authenticate on Portal, using Domino. For that, I have to migrate the users to Domino.
However, your suggestion is interesting, and I will walk around it… I will also post my question on Portal Forum…
