Hello everybody,

First of all I am French, so sorry for the mistakes I will make, I’ll do my best :wink:

Ok so I’m the administrator of 10 blackberry 9000 bold in my office.

We are using the 4.1.6.9 version of BES.

We are using Lotus Domino 6.0.4.

I’m not sure how to explain clearly what I am looking for so I will use simple words.

For a better security, I would like to active on the Blackberry terminals the Lotus Notes password.

You know, the same you are using when you log on the PC in the morning

At this time the user do not have to enter this code, only the PIN one at the terminal start. But I would like he has to… you know what I mean?

It seems it’s possible has I read on the Blackberry knowledge base, but I have to admit it’s a bit… blur.

You can enable and enforce the use of passwords on your blackberry devices. This is done by creating a policy and assigning this to the users via the BES server.

This in done on the HANDHELD only section and then the password settings are based on the password section. this is where you can set how often they have to change their password etc.

I dont know if you can sync these with your Notes (I doubt it but I am sure I might be wrong).
