Action buttons mouseover color

Hello,

I am using NOtes 8.0.2 and I really like the action buttons changing color on mouseover. I coudn’t find any clue on how to do it in my own application. Can someone please help me to understand how to make this effect in Notes client.

You must create an image well – an image resource that contains a picture of the button background in two different colors, side by side, and specify the “width” as 2 images. Then in the action bar properties, select the image resource as your button background.

But when I checked in the mail 8 template, I saw only button_mouseover.gif picture, but no property set for that in the action bar properties. Wondering how they did it.

By the way, I am very happy meeting you in person at Lotusphere last month.

Bear in mind that the mail file uses Eclipse-based views rather than the old “basic” views which are available in other applications, so they have built-in behaviors that aren’t necessarily reflected in the design element options.
