When we embeed an Acrobat object in a notes form (R6.5), and we try to open a pdf file with Acrobat 7, using this control. It returns me the following failure: Generic LSE Failure (no more info!)

It happens with this script:

Set ws = New NotesUIWorkSpace()

Set UIDoc = ws.CurrentDocument

Set doc = uidoc.document

Set db = doc.parentdatabase

Set handle = UIDoc.getObject(“Adobe Acrobat Control for ActiveX”)

handle.SetShowToolBar(0)

handle.src = “C:\File.pdf”

We had the exact same problem. We installed Acrobat 6 instead and the control worked fine.
