ACL isn't recognizing new entries to a group

I have an agent that will run every day, and based on new document(s) created, it will then create entries into a Access Control Group in the names.nsf on a server.

This Group has been added to the databases’ ACL. When new users are added to this group they still do not have access.

The only way I’ve found to rememdy this issue is to remove the group from the ACL and then “RE-ADD” the group.

Is this a bug, and\or how can I get around this?

Your users need to close Notes and log in again once in a while. Group membership is assigned at login, so if they want immediate access to a database they’ve just been given access to through group membership, they’ll have to log in again.
