I understand there’s some post related to this but I tried those command and still, doesn’t get the ACL to recognize user listed under the Group.
I run the command updall -V, tel adminp process all and dbcache flush but still, I got the prompt “You are not authorised” even when my name is under the Group name which was assigned in the ACL. The type is multi-purpose.
Anyone… pls HELP…!
Subject: ACL - Group name doesn’t work???
Are you listed in the group on the Server’s address book? Maybe you’ve made the change to a different address book and it has not replicated over to the servers address book yet?

HiAssuming you inserted your username into a group which has been put into the db ACL (at least this is how I understand your post), did you restart your Notes client after applying those changes and commands ?
This might well be a local cache issue on your client, not the server… I’d suggest you close your notesclient, delete cache.ndk and start over.

Subject: RE: ACL - Group name doesn’t work???
Sorry for not making clear on this issue. Pls refer to the following:
-
I created a new group name using the address book in Domino A
-
Replicate the address book to Domino B and created a new DB in Domino B
-
Add the Group name into the ACL of the new DB in Domino B
-
Run updall, dbcache flush & adminp on both Domino A & B
Do you think it’s a client cache issue since all the users listed in the group is not able to access the DB. But if I add individual names into the ACL, it works. Why is that so?

Can you please explain your problem in more depth?
