ACL Corrupt in database

We have some users on 8.5.0 FP1 who periodically get locked out of their local replica databases for no reason. Sometimes it occurs after a Lotus Notes crash. The only known solution is to delete the local replica and recreate a new replica (nothing else works - ie compacting etc because they don’t have access to their database anymore). Their local log.nsf file indicates a message like the following “09/16/2010 02:23:36 PM ACL Corrupt in database C:\Notes\data\engserv\ESIS2.NSF, creating new ACL with default set to no access.”. Has anyone ever seen this error message before? I did search in this forum and a search on google and found nothing. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Chad
