ACL(Author) and local copy of database

Hi all,

I have made myself as an Author in the ACL. But i still can edit the document. What is happening?

Is it because the database is a local copy?

Yes it is behaving like this because it is a local copy, you have to enable the option “enforce consistent acl” from the advanced tab of the acl settings for the acl to bahave the same way in the local copy also.

Thanks, can work now. But after that i want to change my Access Control to Manager and i found that the “Access Control” is greyed out.

How to change my access control back to Manager?

You have to be signed in with an id that has manager access to the database in order to modify the ACL.
