I’m wanting to copy a database from one server to a different server (Right now I’ve got the copy and I’m just working with it locally). I set “default” to Manager and I’m able to open the database in the new client but not in designer and I can’t edit the ACL. Any idea what I’m missing?

Check to see if you are listed in the ACL. ALso, check to make sure that the 2nd server is listed in the acl on the first server.
