Pointers please, in lotusscript I want to create an agent to access the fields in a new mail document, set to fire after new mail arrives. I can get it to work from a view etc but not “after new mail arrives”. Thanks, Paul.

It’s possible to do that, so you’re doing something wrong. There are about a dozen things that could be. I don’t feel like guessing this morning.
