Accessing Mail via Web Browser

I recently upgraded 4 out of 10 servers in our domain from 5x to R6 release. So far - so good - not…All of a sudden, users who previously were able to access their mail (Standard mail5.0 ntf), receive this error:

HTTP Error: Invalid URL exception.

I have tried replacing their standard mail box w/the Extended mail and/or iNotes5 - no luck. This is consistent with new users I am registering w/the upgrade R6 servers, but also some (not all) with the existing/old mail boxes. We are all using MIE version 6+ - could it be some JAVA Applet problem?

I need some solution soon as my boss wants to back out of R6 and revert back to R5.0.10…

Although not the originator of this thread, I am experiencing the exact same problem.

Here is the excerpt from the Notes Log:

17/06/2003 18:38:33 HTTP Web Server: Invalid URL Exception [/mail/pbolger.nsf/($Inbox)?OpenView]

Not helpful!

Luckily I have an R6 and an R5 server with mail on both, but the R5 server must be brought down by the end of the week!!
