Hi, I have a form with three rich text fields for attachments. One of these fields is important in the sense that if that field does not have any attachment then I dont want to show the document in the view. How can I do that?

Attachments are not stored in the fields, they are stored in a special item called “$File”. So you can write a view selection formula which will only show documents if they have attachments in them i.e.
Select Form=“FormName” & @Attachments

Now it shows only those documents which have got attachment. Isn’t there any way through which we can track fields through which attachments have been done?

You will need to make some LS agent which sets a field like “ThirdFieldHasAttachment”. The agent can be triggered when documents have been changed and of course using a view which shows only newly changed documents, for example by setting the field value to “Changed” in the Form’s QuerySave method, and let the view only show those documents with “Changed” status. Then you get a realtime-1min updated view. Also make sure that your server’s notes.ini has something like:
AgentManagerSchedulingInterval = 1
AMgr_DocUpdateAgentMinInterval = 0
AMgr_NewMailAgentMinInterval = 0
AMgr_DocUpdateEventDelay = 0
AMgr_NewMailEventDelay = 0
