If you use a html signature file you define this with a path in the calendar profile of your mail file. Working with this mail file from a Windows client AND from a Linux client leads to the problem that you can’t use a Windows path in Linux and vice versa. My suggestion for a workaround: Use the path of the Notes data directory automatically if you write only the name of the signature file into the tools … preferences … signature field.
Subject: I guess it would make more sense to have the option to attach the File to some place within the database
Subject: I second that!
Plus - it would be great to actually have more than one signature within the mail file. Selecting different signatures for diffrent occasions is one of the features former Outlook users miss the most.
Subject: Didn’t know about Outlook. In case it is not allread there, you should post the combined wish to the IBM BP Forum and/or http://ideajam.net/
Subject: It’s been there for some time…
…but I have just cast my vote to promote it.

But not in the same thread. I have just cast my vote to promote this one, too.
