I have a user who has access to edit groups within her division. I’ve created a new group, made her the owner and assigned it to a database that contains other groups that she can edit. When she views this new group however, the Edit Group button is not visible. She is able to view her existing groups and see the “Edit Group” button.
The existing groups were setup before me, and I’m not certain what else I need to do to resolve this. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I think you’ll find she also requires the [GroupModifier] role in the ACL

Hi Melissa,Thank you for your response. I looked and this person does not appear to have the GroupModifier role. She is able to see the Edit Groups button on her old groups though, just not the new one that I created. Since she is able to modify old groups, wouldn’t that imply that she has the correct roles already?
I could try the GroupModifier role, but would that give her access to modify all groups, or only the ones she is an owner of?
Thanks!

Check the administrator tab of the new group.
She should be listed as an owner of the group.
This Owner field is an Authors field, and should give her the right to edit that group document while having Author access only to the databsae.
Cheers

I removed the person from the Owners field and re-added them. I’m not certain why, but that seems to have done the trick.
Thanks!
