Access Lotus Notes Database through Micorsoft c# .Net

Right now i am trying to access Lotus Notes Via C# by using “Lotus Domino Objects”. And Here is my code …

Domino.NotesDatabase db = new NotesDatabase();

if (db.OpenByReplicaID(“Local”, “CA257210:00031749”))

 MessageBox.Show(db.Title + "is Successfully opened");

else

 MessageBox.Show("Can't Open");

I just want to check that either database is opening or not but over here the code builds successfully but i got exception during run time and exception message is “Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {29131…} failed due to the following error : 80040154”

I searched for this error code but i can’t find any handy stuff fron net. Can anybody help me in this regard??

hey dude

     have you tried domino designer help. quite basic stuff are provided there. check out that have you missed something regarding diff b/n accessing notes via COM and general exceptions. just type in "domino objects" in the search box you will find lot of stuff regarding this read through it.

and also dont forget to look on the Lotus software Knowledge Base which comes with your Lotus notes package. just check it out and search for this Error Message.

also remember to visit the technical section of the developer works/lotus page there you can find a similar stuff like Knowledge Base.

i think this would help a bit…
