Access Lost - Desktop Corruption?

Since upgrading all of our users to 6.5 we’ve had some problems with security in our databases. For some reason, the buttons for certain users will just stop working. Or they won’t see certain documents in a view (the documents have readers fields). In order to restore the functionality of the buttons or allow them to see all the documents I need to remove the icon from their workspace and re-add it. Not a big deal but it seems to be happening with increasing frequency. Any ideas on what might be causing this? It’s starting to drive us mad!

We ran into this problem also…

Our fix seem to focus around the ODS version the database was on…

After we compacted the database (or made a new replica copy) setting it to the ODS version 43 (for Notes 6), it seemed to clear up the problem…

I also read somewhere that compacting the workspace also worked…
