I have had a question from one of the users I support in Poland today about how to get their accented characters to work in Lotus Notes.
I have looked at the ALT+F1 to compose special characters but the polish ones do not appear to be in the list.
This is the question:
I am using Polish letters on standard European type keyboard - for example “ś”
to have that I use special combination of keys: alt+s
That is used in all Poland as standard
The same with alt+e that bring ę
the same for ć, ó etc.
I have problem when writing letter in Lotus with ś
That combination alt plus s stops writing at all. I do not know why. Can You remove that problem from Lotus?
I have no problem like that in WORD or Excel
I cannot find how to get this to work in Lotus Notes so am asking for advice here if it is possible?
This is caused by a bug introduced by FP2, installing FP3 resolved it
