About time out on web access

Hi,

I have an application running on web…if my client open one form, and make changes and go away, and after x minutes back and click the SAVE buttom it must inform the name and password because the timeout expired. Thats ok, BUT, after it press enter at the login, the server show that black window of the server, with the help domino links and , not the document again!!!

It is normal ???

You can check the idel session timeout setting for your server its under Server > Configuration > Internet Protocols > Domino Web Engine. Its usually 30 minutes but you could increase it to reduce the errors.

Now when the user has to reauthenticate after their session has timed out the server cant return them to their partially completed form unless its already been saved? When you log back in the Domino server takes you to the database/location specified in the ‘Home URL’ again under Server > Configuration > Internet Protocols > HTTP. You could set this to take them back to the application or if the doc has been saved maybe take them to a view showing their partially completed documents…

I have 2 server, so the SSO are enabled. The problem is the homepage on the 2nd server was wrong configured!
