Hi,I have a notes database which has been run long time, today one of the new user start to use this system, when she try to compose a document, she got the error message:
“Notes error: You cannot update or delete the document(s) since you are not listed as an Allowable Author for this document”.
There are not reader or authors field on the form, and the user was given editor access.
The question is why other user does not have this error, only for her?
The system does not allow her to create new document.

Hi,
Check that the user (or a group that the user is in) is listed in the ACL with the correct access. Make sure that the “Create Documents” checkbox is checked.
You may also want to make sure that the new user has actually been added into the correct groups.

Hi,The user was given the Editor access and in the correct group, I will check the “Create Documents” check box and let you know tomorrow.
