This should be simple. I need to find a way to get the creation date of a document. The only trick is… i can’t use @Created or any other obvious means of aquiring this date. I cannot use these methods because some of my documents change databases. They may be cut out of one and pasted into another. When you past documents into a database, Notes marks the day/time you pasted the doc as the created date. What i need is some way to stamp a doc with the date it very first came into existance and never have that date changed… even if its cut out of a DB and pasted back in to its orginal DB or a completely different one. How can i accomplish this… i’ve been tooling around too long on this simple problem?

Put a computed when composed field on the form with the formula @Date(@Now)
