A question about mail.box

Hi everybody,

I wanted to ask you if mails sent between mail accounts from de same domain the sending mail passes over mail.box database. And if it passes I wanted to know how could I assign a mail.box file for a destination mail account (general@ihe.net) because this mail account received quite big mails in the size of 10 mb so I wouldn’t like to slow down the mail server perfomance and for that I’ve set 4 sata disks, and the mail databases distributed over there… but I liked that mails sent to my server to general@ihe.net account to have a destinated mail.box file for as I’ve said not to slow down other disks or other mail accounts because the mentioning mail.box and general@ihe.net database would be storaged in an only for that databases destinated SATA disk.

How could I make this?

Thank you very much

You can have several mail.box files, which is specified in configuration doc, Router/SMTP tab, Basics tab. The files will be named mail1.box, mail2.box…

You can not specify that one mailx.box is supposed to handle mail only for one specific account, but having more than one mail.box will distribute the load between them.
