A little help with session auth cookie

Hi,

I would like to know from you guys, what would let the session auth cookie to be lost or not able to be retrieved?

in my case, here in the company we have a product, a CMS one… and while using it, sometimes it asks me to auth again, during the navigation, and not after a few minutes without using it,like it usually happens.

So i would like to know what could be doing this, or when could the cookie be lost…

what situations? maybe http requests?

any tip will be very helpful !

TIA

I’m getting a similar problem. One of my apps loses the session cookie consistently after a document update, requiring the user to re-authenticate. But when I issue a ‘javascript: alert(document.cookie)’ through the browser address bar just before the update . . . the cookie isn’t lost. Curious! Just wondering if these problems are linked.

cookies do have a timer

maybe the timer is just set too incredibly short?

just a thought…
