While trying to import x509 certificate to ID file I get error “A certificate chain could not be constructed”. This happens while I try to import CA certificate. I must import CA certificate before personal certificate is imported. The error persists no mater what certificate file types are used.
I’m using certificates from http://www.thawte.com/secure-email/personal-email-certificates/index.html?click=main-nav-products-email . Microsoft Outlook and other applications work without a problem with the same certificate files.
I guess Lotus Notes (7.0.3,8.0.1) do not support strong x509 certificates.
Has anyone experience with this issue?
