Installed 8.5Gold and have several very annoying issues that were reported in beta 1 and beta 2 (and cd12):
Integrated Sametime - does not remember the ‘show online contacts only’
right sidebar panel - does not remember the right sidebar settings
occasionally in folders the task bar is lost:
If I click anywhere in the folder then it is fixed - thus:
Focus has not been fixed with the Integrated Sametime. When working in a Notes document and a Sametime chat comes in it will take the focus by jumping in front of everything - fortunately it does not take the focus of where text is being entered.
These are annoying issues - obviously not major bugs BUT they are very annoying user interface issues that should have been addressed in the 8.5Gold. I hope they will be resolved in 8.5.1 as it is too late for 8.5.
Subject: I can only reproduce the Sametime issue…
and we are planning to address that in 8.5.1.
I know that you have been an active participant in the beta program and I wonder if un-installing and installing Notes into a relatively cleaner environment might help.

this weekend I did a clean install on another laptop (my personal one at home) and experience all these issues. I was hoping a clean install would be the solution.
Subject: workaround for “show online contacts only”
if you click on the sametime client in the sidebar, then in the notes client menu “view\sametime\online contacts only” it will remember this setting.
if you right click a group in the sametime client and choose “show online contacts only”,
it will reproducible NOT remember this setting.

I trust that this will be resolved in a future update as it violates the principle of least astonishment
