It’s embarrassing to have to explain this one but we’ve had it happen on more than one PC so I thought it best to throw it out onto the forum. These users happen to be running 802CCH1. The situation is: they’ll be using Notes as usual and then try to click to a different tab for example. But nothing happens. They try clicking a bookmark on the left pane, but still no response. It would appear almost like the mouse or Notes is frozen. But wait, if you Double Click a Tab, WALLA, it opens. If you Right click on a document, you’ll get options as well. But you can’t single click on anything so all bookmarks on the left and right pane’s are useless and you can’t open email either unless you right click on them. We thought it was a fluke at first but now one of our own admins got the problem. The current fix, restart notes. But this too, like all the other problems found throughout the forum, will generate a service desk call.
Subject: Same experience on 8.0.1, 8.0.2 and 8.5 clients
I too have experienced the same behavior. Out of the blue, the tabs across the top will only respond to a double-click. No explanation found yet. But seems to be happening less with each release. Some times, it will require a log off from Windows XP in order restore functionality.
