8.51 template Singature with older clients

If you use the 8.51 mail template with an 8.0x client, the signatures do not get added to new messages. I have tried the 8.02 FP5 client and the problem is still there.

Anyone know of a fix/workaround?

Incase you’re wondering why you would use the latest template with an older client…: the 8.51 template works well with iPhones but the 8.51 Notes Client has a bug that creates attachment images (for web views) without the attachments title and this will not be fixed for some time. A catch 22 situation.

Subject: Try this notes.ini setting

Try adding this setting to your Notes.ini: $SignatureOptionEnabled=1

Then re-open your preferences and set your preference setting to an 8.0.2 compatible signature type.
