Just wanted to share this with you guys.
I have installed 8.5 server on ESX server vm running w2k3 enterprise ed sp2 4gb ram.
Installed went through successfully, but the domino server wouldnt start.
It cranks out on starting the diagnostic service.
Reinstalled on another clean vm, same problem.
Downed the ram to 2gb on the 2nd install, domino started.
Subject: 8.5 and VM ware works here.
We are running (3) 64 bit Domino 8.5 servers on a win 2003 server. Would like to run on a 2008 server whenever support is available for it. Maybe a Lotusphere anouncement?

We run in VMWare Server and ESX but not 64-bit nor with 4GB RAM… sorry. Not had issues with 512MB to 2.5GB 32-bit 8.5.
