I am running 8.5.1 FP1 on a CentOS workstation and created an upgrade kit in the SmartUpgrade database. I was prompted (eventually) to upgrade and after it downloaded the update and confirmed I wanted to install it I got a prompt asking for the root password. I entered the root password, but it didn’t like it. I entered my account password and others, but none were accepted.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know what account the upgrade script really wants the password for?
