I previously had 8.0.2 multi-client installed and upgraded one client to 8.5.1 and decided to do another install later. I saved desktop6.ndk and other file in another location so that after install in could get things back in order. I have just realized that comes with desktop8.ndk, a separate file, how do i get back the setting from the previous workspace?
Subject: delete or rename desktop8.ndk
If you remove desktop8.ndk and replace it with the old desktop6, Notes will create a new desktop8 based on your old desktop6.

Add “desktop=\desktop6.nsk” to the users Notes.ini after you have renamed desktop8.ndk. This should force the client to use this desktop and then import your workspace ICONS.
We have noticed that during the upgrade and when trying to upgrade the old desktop6 that symantec antivirus effects this process and should be turned of during.
Subject: One suggestion
You can rename or delete desktop8.ndk. Copy or move desktop6.ndk to your data directory and start Notes. It will pick up your icons that way.
