8.5.1 on linux, lapinvoker

Notes 8.5.1 on Ubuntu Linux:Is there any way to influence the lapinvoker mechanism when starting the client for the first time after installation?

The first call to notes fails with a

“There was an error creating the child process for this terminal …” panel.

There’s a _lap.err file in /tmp that says:

ERROR: List of process IDs must follow -p.
