Installing 8.5.1 has lost my integrated Sametime (yes, I DID select it on the install) and Activities.

I don’t think that will help you as I uninstalled, ran a registry cleaner to remove traces then reinstalled and I now have integrated ST and activities.
This did not fix my other issue with the dictionary, BTW
