8.01 calendar bug

can someone confirm the following bug I noticed in the 8.01 client :

if you drag & drop a calendar entry that you have previously accepted (not an entry that you created) to make a couter-proposal then there is a “object variable not set” message. If you click “OK” then a dialog box is displayed to enter new dates/hours and then when you validate the calendar entry disappear. it is deleted !

I have reproduced this on several computers.

is it a known bug ?

Subject: Not seeing the error

I’m not seeing the error that you’re getting. What view are you in? What type of meeting is it (does it have location, rooms, resources, attachments, online information, etc.)? Is it single or repeating?

However, the entry should be removed - that is not a bug. If you’ve accepted the meeting, it places the meeting on the date that it was scheduled for. When you drag and drop the entry, it prompts for the counter and when you send it, it removes it from the view because you’ve countered it. This works exactly the same as if you’d opened it and countered it.

Subject: No error here

I am not getting what you are getting, I just get dialog box to reschedule.I tried dragging on the day before, later in the day, and a day after the scheduled time.

I am also currently in the One Work Week view, not sure which one you are in.

Just tested and all seems ok here.

Hmm…

Subject: did you try on an entry you didn’t create but just accepted ?
