My client is planning to upgrade to Notes 8.x. While 8.5.x is the preferred option, there are concerns that third-party software which is integrated into the mail template has not been certified with 8.5 (it has however been certified with 8.0.x). It has been suggested that we could upgrade the clients and servers to 8.5.x but keep the mail template at 8.0.2. Does anyone have any thoughts or comments on this? From my perspective it all looks reasonable but if anyone knows of any gotchas that might impact upon this, please let me know.
