For development compatability Should 6.5 and 6.0 development clients be treated like it was say 5.10 to 5.11 or say version 5 to version 6?
ie - Is it safe to upgrade to 6.5 like it was a further release of 6 or should it be treated like its another ‘whole’ release and so editing designs of databases used by version 6.1 etc is potentially problematic?
When editing the design of a 6 db that has been editied via a 6.5 designer client you get the “this has been updated by a future release” message which you would see R5>R6.
May be an obvious question - but to me first thing in the mornin - I do not know!
