The Languague pack (Swedish) for Domino 6.5 on Solaris does not identify the rigth version and does not install!Is telling me that I have version 65000, when i need to have 6.5… The server is indeed 6.5!
Any clues? Is there any way/place where to change the version? Did anybody manage to install a Language Pack on Domino 6.5 for Solaris?

I had the same problem on a SUN SOLARIS with the French language Pack for Lotus Domino 6.5.1.
I call the Lotus Support and, 2 months later, I receive the solution.
The problem is with the UNIX notes user used for domino. The Shell of the user must be sh.

This behaviour usually occurs when using the wrong shell:
Please check default shell setting of Domino user.
Current SLP expects that default shell of Domino user should be sh series shell(e.g. sh, ksh, bash, etc…).
If customer uses csh series shell(e.g. csh, tcsh, etc…) for Domino user, SLP will not be able to detect version number correctly,
So please change default shell setting of Domino user only when installing Server Language Pack.
(I recommend sh, because sh is default shell of Solaris OS.)
And, default shell setting is usually written in /etc/passwd file.
I test it And i’s working fine…regards.
