I had 6.0.3 installed and have installed a full copy of 6.5.4 over the top of this, to resolve the issue ‘regression’ in 6.0.2, 6.0.3, 6.5.1 etc where an embedded view in a dialog box basically renders any fields and buttons on the dialog inaccessible once the embedded view has focus. Only to find that now when I am trying to create a frameset with the contents of one frame a computed Notes URL (eg: notes:////names.nsf) it NSDs and dumps the notes client and designer…aaaaaaaaaaargh
Checking the release notes this was a bug that was supposed to be fixed in 6.0.3 (which is what I have just updated from) but seems to now be back in 6.5.4…
Has anyone else experienced this issue,
Any suggestions…or am I now in limbo between which piece of my application I need to rewrite, each time a new ‘upgrade’ of Notes comes out.
Worryingly, looking through the release notes for each subsequent version of the notes client, I was amazed to see how many times the phrase (‘this was a regression introduced’ , ‘reappeared in release’ etc appeared in the fix list!!)
