Since we upgraded to 6.5.4 CLIENTS (Win32), we have a very problematic bug. We have multiple databases that uses different templates.
The problem is that, when you replace the design using HIDDEN DESIGN, we have the problem that, when we replicate the db with another server, design is replicated BACK from the other server (were design was not replaced). This means that you cannot update design… We also have to remove replication history so that something replicates (otherwise we have really strange partial replications).
It occurs with clients 6.5.4, 6.5.5 or 7.0.0. Server side was tested using iSeries Domino 6.5.4 and 7.0.0, Windows Domino 6.5.3…
If you perform the replace design (hidden design too) using a Notes Client 6.5.3 or 6.5.1, it works without any problem…
Tested on multiple clients (hardware).
Anyone noticed this or found a workaround???
