When I use command xhost + as root and Install it install successfully but while I try to run server:
/opt/lotus/bin/server
I received the following error:
‘you must install Domino Server in order to run setup program’

Hi, I don’t understand the meaning of this error msg but U may need to reinstall again be sure that you run the server command from the approciate directory (/local/notesdata)

I think it means the notes user does not have an X Windows session in which the setup program can be launched. Try starting Gnome and logging in with the notes user account just to check it is working. Alternatively you can setup Domino remotely if you don’t want to have X installed - there’s plenty in the admin manual on this.
