We are running Domino 6.5.1 and have recently upgraded a few clients to Notes 6.5.1 Two of the upgraded clients don’t show one of the cateqorized views in a bespoke application properly. It loses the category column. All our applications are now on ODS43 and all other 6.5.1 clients show the view correctly so it must be some wierd client issue. Has anyone had/resolved this problem? All suggestions gratefully received.

Hi Will,
You probably should start by rebuilding all the view indexes (Ctrl-Shift-F9) but I have had a lot of end users suffer from this problem simply because of the caching that goes on at the client level. Users will accidentally (or intentionally) click on one of the sort column headers (which blows out the categorization) and not notice to click it again. I would double check this before I started chasing my tail. Good Luck!

Hi Mark. Thanks for your help. I deleted the users cache.ndk and rebuilt the view indexes but without success. I eventually fixed the problem by deleting and recreating the offending view but this obviously isn’t ideal. Do you know where else might this be cached at the client level.
