Updated to 6.03 from 6.02CF1 today (a saga in itself), on Win XP. I’ve noticed that a number of existing databases have small things missing from their user interfaces: image resources embedded in table cells no longer show up, all view columns are black text regardless of original design, many things are flagged as unread when they weren’t.
Design replace and explicitly editing the faulty elements doesn’t work.
Subject: Partially solved (WAS: 6.03 update = hosed Db UIs)
The “Use System Colors” setting got ticked – as part of the upgrade? Dunno. Never used it before, and it just seems to turn everything black. Anyway, even though I used my existing notes.ini file in the install, I tried switching the setting off, and my colours were fine.
So, PEBKAC, whatever. Still don’t know what’s going on with unread marks though: documents generated by an agent, with a NotesDocument.Save(True, true, True) call are all coming through as unread, despite the last save flag, and despite this not happening in R5 or previous versions of 6.
