In the fixlist database (http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/r5fixlist.nsf/Public?OpenView&Start=1&Count=30&Expand=2#2), I find next to 6.0.1 the version 6.0.1 CF1 with 6 extra fixes of which some (mainly the b-tree corruption with R5 names.nsf) seem rarther relevant. I can’t find any info on when this version is going to be released or if it has been released already though. Does anyone know what the deal is with 6.0.1 CF1?

Look at this URL: to find it, you have to look under ‘past releases’ on the MRU/CF page, even though it’s not been released yet.
6.0.1 CF1 was the top ‘6’ release until they started setting SPRs for the 6.0.2 release, and then it because a ‘past’ one. (Confusing, I know.)
As this URL says, the next step is ‘Web Posting’ but no timeframe. I would have thought it’d be out a day or so after Stage 1, but not so, obviously.

This patch needs to be released urgently. We have just suffered the dreaded names.nsf b-tree corruption when opened by an R6 client. Lucky we discovered it now whilst testing the R6 client against the R5 servers - we were hoping to roll out 400 new PCs including the 6.0.1 client as part of the image, in the very near future. Now we have to wait on the patch or go with R5 on the image instead. Or else, upgrade all the servers to 6, which I had originally planned for later in the year.

Kellee… is this MATE?
Subject: How can you tell if you have “b-tree corruption”?
My org is running R6 clients everywhere with an R5 server which is slated for upgrade this weekend ( I wanted it upgraded sooner, but politics overruled). When I heard about this b-tree thing, I have been holding my breath, avoiding any unecessary edit of the names.nsf. Any idea what action on the address book actually causes this potential R6/R5 issue? Also, is b-tree corruption obvious. Could I already have it?
