This issue occurs most often when third-party applications (such as anti-spam, anti-virus, or another SMTP service) are configured to use the same port on which the Domino SMTP Listener task listens for inbound mail. By default, the Domino SMTP Listener task listens for incoming mail on port 25.
To resolve the issue, identify which third-party application is using the SMTP port and either disable it or reconfigure it to use a different port.
The error messages listed above are not Domino-generated messages.
NOTE: If another application is listening on the same port as the Domino SMTP Listener task, the following message will be displayed on the Domino server console when the SMTP Listener task is loaded:
"SMTP Server: Another application is already listening on port 25"
