404 error page not found xpage on localhost

I am getting a 404 error, page not found for a test xpage I am doing when I preview it in the web browser.

If I refresh the design on to a test database on the domino server then it previews just fine.

Other design elements like framesets, documents, etc also open with no problems on localhost.

I have ‘Build Automatically’ set to on and am not running any other servers listening on port 80.

Any ideas?

Subject: Don’t use localhost in the URL

I’ve seen similar errors caused by using “localhost” in the URL. Using the IP address or the server name seemed to resolve them.

Subject: SOLVED preview does not work on .ntf files

but does work if you rename it to a .nsf file, oddly.
