4.6.7a ---> 6.0 Where have the Incremental Updaters Gone?

I can’t believe I’ve had to resort to posting this message but IBM have kindly left me no choice.

The pre-requisites for upgrading from Domino 4.6x to 6.0 state that Domino should be running release 4.6.7a.

Despite numerous pleas, the IBM Developer Domain Team have told me that the incremental installers for 4.6x are not available any more on their web site. This means that I cannot patch my Domino server from 4.6.7 to 4.6.7a. They suggested that I ask in this forum to see if anyone can help.

Therefore, I have two questions…

  1. Can anyone help me get hold of this update (4.6.7 → 4.6.7a),

  2. Can anyone reading this actually believe that this is happening?

P.S. I didn’t know which forum to use, but I figured there would have been more people in this position who are now using 6.0.

Subject: You can upgrade from 4.67, as long as you are not planning to “co-exist”. i.e. you must upgrade all your servers.

How about from R4.6.6x or 4.6.5x ???

It’s astonishing that Lotus doesn’t give you the elements to make the upgrade as they suggest…

Subject: From the Release notes for 6.0.1

Upgrading to Notes/Domino 6 is supported from 4.5.x

Please note that IBM/Lotus supports upgrading from R4.5.x and later releases, to Notes/Domino 6. Any references in the Lotus Notes 6 and Domino 6 Administrator Help files requiring at least R4.6.7 to upgrade to Notes/Domino 6 are incorrect.

Note: To replicate the Domino 6 Domino Directory to Domino 4.6 servers, you must upgrade Domino 4.6 servers to Domino 4.6.7a.

I also take it that you can’t replicate it at all to 4.5 servers BE
