3 servers, 2 different search results

We have 3 servers w/ a replication of Database A- Server 1 is the admin, 2 & 3 are in the group LocalDomainServers.

Servers 1 & 2 are Windows 2003 servers, Server 3 is Linux

If I do a “More” search on datebase A on Server 1

WissueDate < 01/01/2003 I get 33,000 + documents

Same search on both the other servers tops at 5000

This morning, I did notice Admin server had no roles and LocalDomain was in roles - so, I cleared all the roles from LocalDomain- but am still getting the same results- Obvously, 5000 even, seems like a “Limitation” number, but why would the limitation not exist on server A?

If it had something to do w/ my rights- it would be the same on all 3 servers. (Just ran it w/ Full Access Admin-no difference)

Okay- I just created a new view w/ the view selection formula

Form = “RFW” & Wissuedate < [01/01/2003] and it pulls in the right number of documents as Server A

Any ideas?

Subject: 3 servers, 2 different search results

Just spoke w/ IBM suppport-the magic answer isset config FT_MAX_SEARCH_RESULTS= some integer

The default is 5000 documents (I knew I was hitting a ceiling) - I have set it to 60000- the number can be higher, but was warned there is only so much memory set aside by Domino-
