First question: Is there a way to allow any (even google gadgets) widgets that we publish to the catalog, but stop users from adding the gadgets from google’s site (as an example)
We know we can remove com.ibm.rcp.toolbox.google.provider.internal.GooglePalleteProvider,
from the list of available widgets in the policy, but that seems to lock out the one’s published in the catalog too.
We’d like to publish widgets to the catalog and allow users to ONLY use those Google gadgets.
Second question: We have setup widgets on our desktop policy but to be honest we do not completely understand the list: com.ibm.rcp.toolbox.google.provider.internal.GooglePalleteProvider,com.ibm.rcp.toolbox.web.provider.WebServicesPalleteProvider,com.ibm.rcp.toolbox.feeds.FeedPalleteProvider,com.ibm.notes.toolbox.provider.NotesViewPalleteProvider,com.ibm.rcp.toolbox.prov.provider.ToolboxProvisioning
is there any documentation that explains this better?
The third question: Is it “necessary”, when using widgets for a local replica of the widgets catalog to be created. If it is not “necessary” how can we prevent it?
Thank you
