2nd post ~ Transform Files ~ Please help if you can

I need to install data files in one location (on a network) and program files in another (user’s local machine). I’ve tried several different times but to no avail. When creating the transform files, the setup allows you to select the path for progdir and datadir but it seems like it just ignores it when the setup runs. It’s always installed to one location instead of the two that I specify.

I’ve even tried to do a “normal” client install (from the disk) and when I point data files to one location and program files to another it all will go to one location.

I’m not sure what else to try. Surely theres a way to accomplish this.

In the Application Configuration\Setup Properties table editor of the Tuner change the values of PROGDIR and DATADIR to the locations you want to use.

Yup.

Tried that. Matter of fact that’s the part the irritates me. I’ve changed both paths for progdir and datadir in step 5 when using tuner to create my transform file. Then, when I run the transform file, everything goes to the datadir path.
