24 hr vs. 12 hr display

After our ND6 upgrade, we have some users that have a 24 hour display in a view and some users that have a 12 hour display in the same view. All users are set to the same time zone and display in the Windows Regional and Language Options. The users have “Use operating system’s time zone settings” checked as Yes in their location documents.

Is there another setting I am missing? I’ve looked through the Personal Preferences and the database preferences, but I can’t find the switch that allows the view to be consistent with the machine settings.

I’m guessing that you’re talking about the calendar. Open a calendar and click on Tools/Preferences. Go the the Display tab and check the settings there. That’s probably the difference.

Subject: Regular View/Folder

I am actually referring to a regular view or folder, but it affects the daily view in the calendar as well. Some of the users have 24 hour time slots, others have 12 hr time slots.

I know I can go into the design and specify what I want, but I would like to to it at the global level, where it should be done, rather than changing the design of individual databases.

Subject: RESOLVED: 24 hr vs. 12 hr display

With our image, something in the back end of the workstation was not being updated. By editing the Windows clock display from 24 to 12 and back again, and restarting the machine, the proper display appears in the Notes views.
